The Parata Solutions design philosophy is that seemingly simple solutions that are often overlooked can make a difference in battling climate change and decreasing energy usage. By making small changes to a product people rarely consider, like window shades, the team has demonstrated that reducing the carbon footprint and energy consumption can be straightforward and painless. Drawing on experience in construction, design, technology, and energy research, the team seeks to create products that easily make the office environment more comfortable and efficient.
Parata Solutions have a measurable return on investment as a result of positive tax treatment and government support for green initiatives combined with lower energy consumption costs. Improved worker comfort from better control of the office environment is one of the intangible benefits of the improvements.

Christopher J. Nurre
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Nurre has spent his career as an executive developing, managing and executing companies in the following industries: Industrial Design, Commercial Construction, Facility Management, Architecture and Real Estate Development.
His clientele includes Fortune 500 companies, Governmental entities, and privately held companies. Mr. Nurre has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Design, Interiors and Environments from The Ohio State University.
Dick Co, Ph.D.
Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Co is a former research professor of chemistry at Northwestern University. His research focused on solar energy conversion and sustainable construction. Prior to his departure from academia, Dick led the award-winning House by Northwestern Solar Decathlon project in 2017. Dick received his B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley, and his Ph.D. in chemical physics from Harvard University. He is an Executive Scholar at the Kellogg School of Management.
Richard Sova
Vice President, Business Development
Early in his career Richard held executive level real estate finance and mortgage banking positions with several large companies. Since forming Landover Corporation in 1985, his company has developed residential and commercial properties with a total value of more than $200,000,000.00. Richard holds a B.S. in industrial Engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Iowa.
Nicholas Gilbert
Vice President, Sales
Nicholas worked in the City of London for 5 years in finance before starting with a niche property developer based in London, working on mixed use residential / commercial projects with values ranging from $15M up to $180M. Afterwards, Nicholas set up his own residential development company which he currently runs, based in London. Nicholas holds a B.A. in Ancient History from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, a Graduate Diploma in Law before passing the Bar.
Robert Kearns III
Director of Engineering & Design
Robert has over 20 years’ experience in mechanical Design. He has been involved with large multi-million-dollar programs in the retail and commercial arenas developing complete programs for Fortune 500 Companies. He owns and operates a successful Mechanical design firm. Robert is a founding member of the Parata Solutions team and was integral in the initial design and development. He and his team designed and tested all products and installation tools for the Parata Solutions system. His experience and mechanical abilities make for an effective solution for environments.
